Mumpreneurs Work-life balance, raising young children & managing a business enterprise in the UK

Health Psychology Management Organisation Services (HP-MOS) and its associate organisation-The Mumpreneurs Networking Club in the FEMME Project are conducting a focus group meeting with Mumpreneurs in the UK. The focus group meeting forms part of its European project among eight partners.

The purpose of the focus group is to identify and discuss challenges that are unique to Mumpreneurs including juggling all of the stresses and strains of entrepreneurship alongside the full-time job of raising children and trying to have a life of their own or at least, to a certain extent, made more manageable.

Sara Guiel & Nicky Chisholm as associate partners run The Mumpreneurs Networking Club and are organizing and delivering the focus group meeting with Mumpreneurs and are moderating /facilitating the group.

Nicky Chisholm and Sara Guiel founders of The Mumpreneurs Networking Club have been at the leading edge of the mumpreneur movement for nearly a decade. They are a multi-award winning entrepreneurial duo who are passionate about supporting Mumpreneurs In their business endeavors and help them up-skill, connect and grow.

To date their events and networking meetings have had 28,000 visits! Each of their groups is led by a local mumpreneur who is equally passionate about supporting their community. The Mumpreneurs Networking Club was founded in 2009 and has ambitious plans to help more Mumpreneurs across the U.K. in 2019.

Exchanging knowledge on Mumpreneurship movements across Europe ensures a better way of working together as business women/mothers; providing better opportunities for Business providers to identify the best way of providing support!
